Parisitoids is an educational game made using ActionScript 3.0 and Adobe Flash. It is an educational game about insects that are widely known as parasites, but more correctly known as parisitoids. In this game you play the part of a parisitoid protecting a garden from plant eating insects called aphids.
For this project I did a lot of quality assurance. This project provided an interesting experience for me as I was working along side two other programmers, one of which was fairly adept with ActionScript 3.0 and the other who had just learned it that year.
The two screen shots show a bit more about the game. You play as the wasp who is located at the bottom of the screen. You are trying to protect the garden at the top of the screen by shooting eggs at the aphids. If you let the aphids consume all of your grass, or run out of eggs to shoot, you lose the game. You can play the game [here](http://www.biocontrol.entomology.cornell.edu/paragame.php" target="_blank).
