First Week At Work
On my first day I was asked to do some usability testing as a new end user on one of the games that we are currently publishing. I also got a chance to help out with some screen shot work in preparation for E3. I've gotten to do some more usability testing on another game as well this week, along with agreeing to organize the vast collection of comic books that the department owns. It's awesome to get to look through what's there, especially as someone who's never been a comic book fan. There are so many different variations to characters and story lines that I had no clue existed. And there are stories from other characters perspectives as well. I also found out I'm going to be getting to go to E3 this coming week. I'm just going to be giving out swag to people, but it means I get to explore the show floor while I'm not working which I'm super excited for. Unfortunately work has put a pause in my list of video games I was going to play this summer. So far because I've spent a large portion of time doing usability testing, I don't really have the energy or want to play video games when I get home. Instead I've just spent all week watching TV. Maybe after things calm down after E3 I'll pick back up again.
