I spent a lot of the summer relaxing when I wasn't working. There was a lot I was learning to get the work done that I needed to do for my Professor. Now that the summer is almost over I'm going to get back into learning again. I've decided to try out Coursera. Coursera is a collection of free online classes from Stanford. The class I've chosen was already in session when I started it, but I was extremely tired and didn't realize it.
The course itself is centered around Algorithms. I've only seen a couple of the videos, but I really like the way the instructor talks about these things. He starts out by explaining what an algorithm is and why it's important to learn them. Then dives right in with an example. I'm going to be continuing throughout the next week and will see how I'm feeling after watching a few more videos.
