I've been extremely light on coding within the last few months. While I've been really enjoying spending time just playing games, I think it's time to get back to work. I've got a couple of different things that I'd like to get done in the next few months.
First and foremost I'd like to add some sort of scaling into the diabetes add-on that I've been working on. I'm leaning towards changing the scaling based on the type of enemy that you are fighting instead of the level of the player. This makes it so that raiding isn't too terribly punishing and that at super low levels it still feels worth using.
Another thing that I'd like to do is work on getting The World Ends With Zombies ported into Unity. Currently it is in XNA which is no longer being supported. Another reason for switching specifically to Unity instead of MonoGame, the successor of XNA, is that instead of being Windows specific the game can be easily ported to other platforms.
The final thing that I would like to do is something that I've slowly been working on relating to the diabetes add-on. I've been using the wowhead.com database to collect the needed information for all of the food items, that are in the game now and will be in the game when the new expansion releases, so that all foods can have an effect on your current blood sugar levels.
