Ever since I was a kid I wanted to be a game developer. At first I didn’t really understand what that meant, but as I got into high school I started learning more of what that would entail. I didn’t however get to start programming until I got to college, but I’m really enjoying it and can’t wait to get into the industry.
Even though I really enjoy programming, my favorite part is actually debugging. I love taking someone’s code and figuring out exactly what little thing they did that either completely breaks their program or makes things act in a way that was unintended. Most recently I’ve been helping a group of friends debug a game that has some really weird collision detection issues.
I also learned this summer that I really enjoy being a producer. It's something that I never really thought of myself as, but when projects start to fall apart I'm normally the one to take charge and get things back on track.
I have done many projects both for class and outside of class. I am currently working on a project that is going to give your character in WoW Diabetes.
